Why you should see it: In this romantic comedy, from the director of Something's Gotta Give and What Women Want Diaz and Winslet play two women who live on opposite sides of the globe and are looking for a change of scenery. Fed up with the men in their lives, the girls meet over the Internet and agree to swap houses for the upcoming Christmas break. Law and Black play the leading men in their new hometowns, and the girls find that their whimsical holiday getaway may be more eventful than they ever imagined.
Box-office bottom line: With a cast as likable (and pretty) as this, The Holiday could provide just the warmth we need for the frosty winter to come.
