Pharrell Williams, half of the high-powered production team the Neptunes, kicks it on his first proper solo album with hot guests like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nelly, Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani, but the man's a party all by himself. In My Mind's got it all — booty-shaking dance tunes, groovy R&B numbers, infectious backing tracks — plus a few come-hither bedroom melodies. On "Best Friend," Pharrell raps, "You see me, Ma. They wish they could be me, Ma." But if we could all be like P, that would be way too much cool.
