Best-Case Scenario: They both got their start on television. They've both worked closely on multiple projects with the godfather of directors, Steven Spielberg. They've both done voice-over for animated features. They even both have the same hair! That's why we feel Shia LaBeouf is destined to become the next Tom Hanks. Which apparently means we have some funky haircuts to look forward to for Shia! Is there a barber in the house?

Worst-Case Scenario: He was a young, hot, smart-tongued, hit-movie-making machine. Then Christian Slater made a couple of mistakes—Kuffs, Jimmy Hollywood—and it was all downhill from there. Let's hope Shia doesn't follow suit. But hey, Christian has a new show on this fall—My Own Worst Enemy—so maybe he's got a shot at redemption. Prove us wrong, Christian!
