July Fourth Hot Dog Competition

Every July Fourth, 21 eaters descend on New York's Coney Island to chow down at the Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs eating competition. From stock brokers to nude models (seriously!), these "athletes" have become celebs. By the way, being large isn't an asset. In fact, excess fat can put the kibosh on an expanding stomach.
Like any sport, Major League Eating has some serious rules, like vomiting. If a competitor does puke, they are only disqualified if it touches the plate or table. Very attractive.
Whether it's asparagus or cow brains, check out some of the ridiculous records... A word to the wise: don't try this at home!
