Why you should see it: Will Smith action movies seem to always pack theaters. He does not crank out as many adrenaline-pumping films as he has in the past, as he seems much more selective with his roles. Consequently, the likeability of his films has skyrocketed. The story of a scientist (Smith) in post-apocalyptic New York feels older than Shakespeare, but Will Smith's action movie chops revitalize it. Many people were excited about the bootlegged trailer released a few days before the official one saw the light of day.
Box-office bottom line: Will Smith + Action = Money to be made. End of story.
