The latest installment of The Chronicles of Narnia, C.S. Lewis's timeless fantasy, comes to life on the big screen with the tale of Prince Caspian. The Pevensie children (Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell) return to Narnia after a year in England. However, in Narnian time they have been away for 1300 years. The children find that the Golden Age has passed, and now Narnia is ruled by the Telmarines under the control of King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto), a ruler without mercy. The rightful king, Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), has gone into hiding for fear of his life. To restore Narnia, the Pevensie siblings, Prince Caspian and some other friends must set out to find Aslan and bring back the magic and glory to the land they all love.

Best friends Erik (Espen Klouman-Hoiner) and Phillip (Anders Danielsen Lie) have known each other since they were children. Their mutual passion for literature, particularly the works by novelist Sten Egil Dahl (Sigmund Saeverud), make them dream of becoming writers. Completing their first novels during their early twenties, the men embark on two different paths. Phillip's book becomes a bestseller, and he cannot seem to handle the success. Meanwhile, Erik receives numerous rejection letters from publishers, and his personal life suffers due to his frustrations. Two men escape their lives in Mexico to live the American dream in New York City. Juan Armando Hernandez) is a cunning and ruthless criminal trying to leave his past behind. Pedro (Jorge Adrian Espindola) is a sweet, illiterate Puebla native who holds a letter from his estranged father, Diego (Jesus Ochoa), in New York. He hopes the letter will provide him the connection that will fulfill his ultimate goal. Being completely trusting, Pedro befriends Juan. Juan, in turn, steals all of Pedro's belongings in the middle of the night, taking, most importantly, Pedro's identity. Both trying to present themselves to Diego as the rightful son, the film shows the men's desperate attempts to seek out shelter and food. In Spanish with subtitles.

In 1920's Los Angeles, two patients strike up an unlikely friendship while recovering in a hospital from broken bones. Alexandria (Catinca Untaru) is a young immigrant girl who wishes for attention and magic while she heals. Roy (Lee Pace), however, wishes to commit suicide. For he has injured himself doing a stunt on a Hollywood movie set, and his career may just be over. To top it off, his girlfriend left him for the film's leading man. To complete his mission, he must compel Alexandria to steal a bottle of morphine pills for him. In exchange, he will tell her an epic story that interweaves the reality of her life and the fantasy he dreams up. Directed by Tarsem Singh.
