How she got here: Keira started in made-for-television roles until she was cast in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Keira then quickly rose to fame after starring in Bend It Like Beckham, which led to roles in Pirates of the Caribbean and Love Actually.
Who she has to thank: Saoirse Ronan, Romola Garai and Vanessa Redgrave for playing the role of Briony—Keira was originally offered that role, but she wanted to play a woman instead of a girl.
