How he got here: Brendan started acting late in the game, at age 34. His first large role was in 1995's Braveheart.
Who he has to thank: Irish revolutionary leader, Michael Collins. Brendan played Michael in 1991's The Treaty. He later acted in the film Michael Collins, though Liam Neeson took the lead role. Following that film, Brendan played Michael's nemesis, Winston Churchill in Churchill at War.
