Role: A wife with Alzheimer's in Away From Her
Age: 66
How she got here: Having moved from India to England to Wales, Julie got her first big break at 20-years-old in a BBC science fiction series A for Andromeda. Though she starred in many films in her younger days, Julie took part in less and less films in the 80s. She's also turned down many roles, so we know it's going to be a good part if Julie accepts it.
Who she has to thank: Canadian actress Sarah Polley, who persuaded Julie for several months to accept the role.
