The Nickelodeon Kids Choice show, now in its 19th year and older than most of the voters and viewers, is more like a carnival than an awards show. Sure, movie stars, pop singers and athletes show up to be named the best of something and pick up a piece of hardware they can put on their mantles. But it's really more about being on hand to have a good time, and the best way to do that is to put the whole family in the car and make a day of it.
