Who will be "in" and who will be "out" this time around?
Premieres: Wednesday, July 12, at 10pm ET, but don't miss the hour-long sneak peek at the casting process at 9pm
When to catch it: Wednesdays at 10pm on Bravo
Starring: Host Heidi Klum; judges Michael Kors, Elle fashion director Nina Garcia and Parsons School for Design chair Tim Gunn; and 15 amateur designers. Plus: Designer to the stars Vera Wang will grace us with her presence as a guest judge on a few episodes.
In a nutshell: Heidi's back for a third season, people — so expect more shows full of drama surrounding the cutthroat fashion industry. Unlike the first two seasons of Project Runway, which used New York's Fall Fashion Week (an event that takes place in February) as the backdrop for their finales, Project Runway 3's finale will take place at New York's Spring Fashion Week, a September event. This means lighter fabrics and brighter colors to play with. Fifteen talented fashion designers will compete for the amazing opportunity to show their collection at Fashion Week and receive a $100,000 check and an Elle fashion spread. Once again, Kors and Garcia will serve as judges and mentors, and Gunn will return to guide the contestants through each of their challenges. Oh, and don't forget there will be special guest judges throughout the entire season. Which aspiring designer is this season's biggest diva? Is Michael Kors more Simon Cowell or Paula Abdul? How does Heidi Klum stay so darn skinny? Talk back about all things Project Runway right here...
