The buzz: Mellencamp's 2004 platinum double-CD Words and Music: John Mellencamp's Greatest Hits, with almost three dozen great tunes, is a window into the deep well of tunes the Indiana singer/songwriter has to choose from on this tour, which pairs him with equally prolific Creedence Clearwater Revival leader Fogerty. And yes, the two musical legends will perform a few tunes together during each show.
