A That '70s Show Virgin

Rehearsal. This is the first time I see the sets for the episode, including the new temporary set for Kelso's bedroom. (After Angie's initial rejection, Kelso gets her into his love nest anyway.) When I wrote the scene, I had to draw upon my experience in boys' rooms as a teenager. Unfortunately, I never made it into an actual boy's room in high school. Luckily, though, we have amazing set designers who are able to take over where my experience falls short.

In between scenes, I talk to Danny Masterson, who plays Hyde, about the lush gift bag he got for going to the Entertainment Weekly Emmy party. (I ran into him at the party, but since I'm not a VIP all I got were a few mini goat cheese pizzas and a couple of cosmos.) I not so subtly suggest that he should give me his bag, rumored to be worth $10,000. Not surprisingly, he doesn't turn it over, but he promises to give me anything he doesn't want. I don't care if it's only a coupon for a free sandwich at Quiznos, I'll take it! I'm all about the freebies.
