The breaks: Growing up in New York, Jimmy set his sights early on SNL: "I was obsessed with Saturday Night Live, and I used to impersonate everybody on the show. I used to pray that I'd be on it one day. I'd cut my birthday cake and wish that I was on Saturday Night Live. I'd see a falling star and wish I was on Saturday Night Live. I don't know how, but one of those worked." Little Jimmy's big dream was a win for both sides: SNL was in a rut in the late '90s -- until he joined the cast. At age 23, Jimmy showed up the vets with his dead-on impressions while his clean-cut good looks wooed female fans. While he's live from New York, Jimmy's Hollywood career could be a bit more lively: His oddball, incognito cameo as a band manager in Almost Famous was well received, but the dud Anything Else was DOA. Still, his scores of self-described "Fallonized" fans aren't writing him off.

Funniest moment: Performing his famed Mick Jagger impression for the big-mouthed man himself on SNL in December 2001.

Most romantic moments: The almost-tender drunken gropes between Sully and Denise (Rachel Dratch) in SNL's "Boston teens" sketches.

Sidekick: Though they haven't 'fessed up, Jimmy and fashion designer/actress Tara Subkoff are often linked in the tabs.
