Brad Pitt. Harrison Ford. Sean Connery. Richard Gere. No, I'm not sitting here fantasizing about the contestants I'd like to see on the next Bachelorette. I'm listing the leading men who have graced the silver screen with British-born actress Julia Ormond. Man, is that lady lucky.
Although the dark-haired beauty hasn't made many headlines since she appeared in 1995's ill-conceived Sabrina remake (for which she received sparkling reviews), she'll be appearing on the little screen this month in HBO's suffragist saga Iron Jawed Angels.
"It's a pretty intense story in terms of what women had to do in order to get the vote," Ormond says of the film. "And I think that is what really interested me
Ormond is no stranger to commitment and conviction. In 1997 she founded her own production company, Indican (the name is a play on the film-industry phrase "in the can"), which produced the Emmy-winning documentary Calling the Ghosts. Julia was the executive producer.
