Why you should see it: The original Hairspray movie was released in 1988, and now a new version is dancing back into theaters. Newcomer Nikki Blonsky plays the big and beautiful Tracy Turnblad, a young girl with a heart of gold and the dream to dance on an American Bandstand-like show. Tracy's skills snag her a place on stage, as well as in the hearts of hottie Link Larkin and all of America.
Box office bottom line: A high energy good time with great music, excellent dancing and Travolta (as Tracy's mom) in a housedress!
