Why you should see it: In this sci-fi thriller, the mysterious crash of a space shuttle releases an infectious epidemic that attacks its victims while they sleep, leaving them physically unchanged but strangely unfeeling and inhuman. Kidman plays a psychiatrist desperately trying to find her son, who may be able to stop the invasion, but only if they can both find a way to stay awake.
Box office bottom line: Aliens attacking while you sleep? It's an age-old scenario that will still scare the bejesus out of you.
