Little ones wake too soon?

When you want a few more minutes of sleep, try these for your preschooler:

Sesame Street
PBS, 7am, weekdays
What? Cookie Monster is eating broccoli now? Never mind, this show is still as loveable and crazy as when it first aired in 1969. It has made Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird and Elmo all stars in their own right. And, oh yeah, the kids actually learn something while you're hitting the snooze button. Too cool.

Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood
PBS, 9am, weekdays
If only we all had someone like Mr. Rogers in our lives ‑- oh wait, we do! Watching this gentle, caring soul connect with kids across the globe is such a good feeling that you won't feel so bad about that extra half hour in bed.
