All good things must come to an end eventually, and long-running sitcoms are no exception. After almost a decade's worth of meddling, misunderstandings and Mama Marie's lasagna, Everybody Loves Raymond is signing off for good on May 16. "We want to leave on top when we're still doing good stuff," explains star Ray Romano, who based the lovably dysfunctional Barones on his own Italian-American clan ‑- with exaggerations for comic effect, of course.
