"Smartest, bravest kid"
by by Gerri Miller
"Stella is in kindergarten, and she's the smartest, bravest kid I have ever met in my life. She teaches me things every day. I love being able to look at life from a kid's point of view. Her birthday is the anniversary of John's death, and she is very, very aware and very grown up at six in a way that you don't want your kids to be at that age. There's a thing she knows about life now, that death is a part of life, and that people are born and die.
