Jeff says: They're back in your corner now! If any of your attempts at influencing their movie appetites have born fruit, your teens are ready to see films of an even more complex nature. Jett has recently been getting into Woody Allen movies (he loves Manhattan and Annie Hall), and he also likes Sideways and Million Dollar Baby. Most kids are into whatever's playing at the multiplex this weekend, mostly as an opportunity for "privacy," but teen cinephiles (as rare as they might be) are as capable of appreciating the same quality films as anyone else.
Jett says: Yes, most kids my age are into films like White Chicks, 2 Fast 2 Furious and You Got Served, while I stand as a Woody Allen fanatic. However, teenage film buffs exist. Several of my friends have seen Pulp Fiction, Scarface and Thirteen.
