Tween Extras
by Jeffrey Wells and Jett Wells
Jeff says: If you can force them to sit through something like, say, Alexander Payne's Election (a razor-sharp satire about the political realities of high school life that any tween will instantly understand) or The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (a parable about the dangers of greed), so much the better. Short of that, they need some insightful and sophisticated visions of the intimidating teenage world they're about to enter, or even the full-grown adult one, such as Clueless, The Breakfast Club or The Graduate, which is today one of Jett's favorite films. Also show them anything with Adam Sandler, Bill Murray or Will Ferrell.
