This week's Leading Ladies are split on this animated comedy about a party animal (Otis the cow) who has to grow up and accept responsibility when he becomes the man of the house, er, barn. One major issue: The boy cows have girl cow parts...

The Dallas Morning News's Nancy Churnin says the movie "looks great, and it's bright and colorful, fast and fun, with terrific voice talent," and L.A. Weekly's Ella Taylor claims, "Even an advanced case of critter fatigue shouldn't stop you from rushing out to see this delightfully cheeky animated tale."

On the flip side, the Washington Post's Jane Horwitz says it "surely doesn't earn the laughs through good storytelling or beautiful animation." And USA Today's Claudia Puig points out that "one aspect is utterly mystifying: The two main characters, father and son bovine creatures, have large, distracting udders."

Female consensus: Good for a quick chuckle, not good for a biology lesson
