Meet the Fockers

The in-laws are running the asylum in this Meet the Parents sequel, which ups the ante on zany wedding movies with its cast of heavyweights. Bernie and Roz Focker, played with over-the-top enthusiasm by Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand, form the brain trust that named their son ‑- gasp! ‑- Gaylord M. Focker, otherwise known as Greg (Ben Stiller). And Robert DeNiro's surliness as former CIA agent Jack Byrnes has nothing on their eccentricities.

Before the big wedding day, Jack decides that the families should get to know each other better, so he takes the wheel of an RV and heads for casa Focker in Detroit. Streisand, who hasn't acted in a movie since The Mirror Has Two Faces eight years ago, wouldn't come out of retirement for just any role, so you can be sure that the clashes between her liberal side of the family and the conservative Byrneses will be histrionic.
