Adam Sandler has been trying every different type of movie lately (some good, some... well, not), and along the way he's shared the screen with many a talented costar. Still, it's Sandler who always steals the show. Even Jack Nicholson doing his crazy act in Anger Management didn't stand a chance against him. Finally, though, we have a charismatic contender: Tea Leoni.

Back to work after a break to start a family with husband David Duchovny, Tea's in rare form, blowing the lid off the desperate-housewife routine as a workaholic who gets downsized, hits midlife-crisis mode and dukes it out with her alcoholic mom (Cloris Leachman) while she gets used to her two kids again. Whew. Complicating matters is the beautiful housekeeper (Spanish actress Paz Vega) who joins the family and tempts the hubby (Sandler). Director James L. Brooks knows how to milk unhappy families for tender moments, and he hasn't lost his step with this one.
